Hi! I’m Lauren, the founder of Lauren’s Lovely Learning!

I am a California Multiple Subject Credentialed Teacher with a Master of Arts in Teaching, Elementary Education.

My educational background also includes studying Business Administration and Finance, as well as attending law school. My diverse academic experiences have given me a unique perspective on education, problem-solving, and the importance of developing effective learning strategies.

Through my professional experience working in Orange County public schools, including elementary classroom teaching, academic intervention, and individualized tutoring, I’ve gained a strong appreciation for the different ways students learn, process information, and develop academic confidence.

I founded Lauren’s Lovely Learning because I recognized a growing need for personalized educational support that goes beyond what can always be provided in a traditional classroom setting.

While classroom teachers work incredibly hard to meet the needs of every student, larger class sizes, curriculum demands, and limited instructional time can make individualized attention challenging.

I wanted to create an educational experience where students could receive the personalized instruction, patience, encouragement, and attention they deserve.

My Personal Connection to Learning Differences

My passion for individualized education is also rooted in my own academic experiences.

Having navigated the educational system with ADHD, I understand firsthand that traditional learning environments and instructional approaches do not always work equally well for everyone.

Throughout my own educational journey, I’ve learned that academic challenges do not define a student’s intelligence, abilities, or potential.

Sometimes, students need information presented differently, additional structure, creative explanations, or someone who recognizes their individual strengths.

These experiences have profoundly shaped my teaching philosophy and reinforced my belief that learning differences should never limit a student’s opportunities to succeed.

I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, overcoming challenges, and celebrating their progress.

At Lauren’s Lovely Learning, I believe the most meaningful academic progress happens when students feel understood, supported, and genuinely excited about their accomplishments.

My teaching philosophy centers on three principles:

1. Every Student Is Unique

There is no universal approach to learning. I adapt instruction to each student’s abilities, interests, learning style, and academic goals.

2. Confidence Is Essential to Academic Growth

Students are more willing to tackle challenging concepts when they feel capable and supported. I focus on creating positive learning experiences that build confidence alongside academic skills.

3. True Success Means Developing Independence

My goal is not for students to depend on tutoring indefinitely. I want to equip them with the knowledge, organizational skills, and effective learning strategies they need to become increasingly self-sufficient.

Whether we’re mastering a challenging math concept, developing reading comprehension, organizing assignments, or preparing for an exam, every session is an opportunity to build skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Teaching is more than my profession—it’s my passion. Nothing is more rewarding than helping a student recognize their own abilities, overcome an obstacle, or accomplish something they once believed was impossible.
